I manage to play around with this little router from Cisco. A client from Australia called up wanting my service to troubleshoot the connection on one of their outlet here in Malaysia. This is a first time for me to see a Cisco SRP527W here in Malaysia. Basically what the client want is to make the Cisco SRP527W as the internet dialler, and I have to configure VPN setting into it.

Thanks to this website, I manage to do bridging via Dlink DIR-615 (Unifi Stock Router). Make sure you login using ‘operator’.

After that I spent some time wondering why in the world that the Cisco unit didn’t dial the connection. After some time searching the net, I realize that I have to disable the DSL port, so that it would use the WAN port to dial up instead.

Now the Internet is up. I also done with the VPN, just wait for a chance to test it.
